The Armbrust story began in 1918 when Clarence and Clara Armbrust founded the company with a commitment to serving both residential and commercial customers. Back then, we specialized in plumbing and steam/hot water heating systems (boilers)—work that demanded precision, grit, and trust.
On July 1st, 1963, Arthur and Vada Armbrust took the reins. Under their guidance, the company remained true to its roots while expanding into residential new construction throughout the 1960s — a focus that would continue into the 1990s.
In 1980, Dave and Karen Armbrust carried the family torch into its third generation. As the industry evolved, so did we. In the early 1990s, we expanded into furnace and air conditioning services, becoming a full-force defender of indoor comfort every season.
By 1997, the fourth generation — Rich and Marianne Armbrust — assumed leadership, continuing to build on the family’s reputation for quality and care. Their leadership strengthened the bond between our company and the communities we serve.
And on July 1st, 2024, the legacy passed once again — this time to the fifth generation: Patrick and Kristina Armbrust. With fresh ideas and deep respect for the past, they lead Armbrust into the future — proudly upholding a name that’s stood for trust, craftsmanship, and service for over a century.
